WHITE FIELD was commissioned by the wind band
Musikkapelle Vintl
to celebrate there "small" 115th anniversary of the foundation of the band.
Therefore, the piece starts powerful with a prominent theme.
Then, in the lyric middle part, the surroundings of the town with them stunning and storied mountains are described.
Finally, the initial theme is picked up again and leads into the majestic finale.
