ABINCHOVA

ABINCHOVA was commissioned by the young brassband Abinchova from Switzerland. The occassion was the 10th anniversary of the very successful band.

The piece consists of three movements: the first introduces the fanfare-style main theme and stands for the solemn occassion of the anniversary. The slow and expressive second one describes the beautiful lake nearby the city. And finally the third one describes in a rocky and lively style the daily chaos on the city-streets subject to heavy traffic.
