FESTFANFARE

I wrote the opening work FESTFANFARE for the 175th anniversary of the founding of my "homeband" Msuikkapelle Lengstein in 2003. The work was premiered in 2003 at the traditional spring concert of the Musikkapelle under the direction of Manfred Gampenrieder. The opening fanfare is followed by a slower, calmer intermediate section until the piece comes to its "rocky" conclusion.
