FEUERTAUFE

FEUERTAUFE was a gift to the Musikkapelle Montan, which was my practice band during my education to become a conductor. The work was premiered in 2004 at the spring concert of the Musikkapelle Montan under the direction of Helmuth Valersi. The piece consists of the fast start and end parts, both written in 12/8 time, and a quiet middle section in 4/4 time.
