"Die schönsten Jahre" ("Most beautiful years") is a swinging polka with a melodic, catchy trio part and "crisp" passages. I dedicated it to my parents for their 70th birthday. It was premiered at the spring concert of the music band Musikkapelle Lengstein in 2013.
