AERIAL

"Aerial" is a concert piece for large woodwind orchestra. It was commissioned for the woodwind workshop "Colour Winds", which took place in August 2013 in Auer (South Tyrol). My main focus in this composition was the elaboration and delimitation of the different timbres. In addition, the broad expressive possibilities of the wood instruments were to be given space in order to create a varied, demanding but also appealing work that would give pleasure to the young wind players. The premiere took place on 23th August 2013 at the final concert of the project week.
