AFINGER POLKA

The Afinger Polka is a pleasant polka with a simple first part, a short middle part with a slightly exposed bass voice and a melodic trio theme. Since it was a wedding present of the band Musikkapelle Afing to its president, the short intermezzo before the recapitulation in the trio is based on the wedding march of Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
