CARPE DIEM

CARPE DIEM is a ambitious concert march in which I combine several musical styles of this genre. In it, influences from Central Europe, England and America meet and complement each other. Smashing fanfares, relentless rhythms and a tender, lyrical trio melody form the ingredients of this somewhat special march.

At the 2019 international composition competition of the Hillcrest Wind Ensemble (US), this mix was well received; Carpe Diem received first prize.
