SARNTHEIN GLÄNZT was a commissioned composition of the
Musikkapelle Sarnthein on the occasion of its 200th anniversary. The lively concert march in Tyrolean style captivates with a striking beginning and an expressive trio. Naturally, instruments such as flugelhorn and tenor horn form a focal point of the melody.
The premiere took place as part of the Mother's Day Concert on 9 May 2009 at the Bürgerhaus in Sarnthein.
